My Disneyworld Outfit

My Disneyworld Outfit

It was a challenge to find a Disneyworld outfit that was both cute and functional. Considering this day lasted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. my Disneyworld outfit needed to be comfortable. I chose a stretchy frilly top (it’s super old) and one of my favourite flower skirts. The skirt is girly and has pockets! See how I dressed it up more in the post Afternoon Tea – Flower Skirt.

Magic Kingdom

The first thing I did when I entered Magic Kingdom was search for the perfect hair accessory. I tried on many ears and hats; but none were right. I found this tiara at the real jewelry store. And yes, it is normal for a 30-something year old woman to run around Disneyworld all day wearing a tiara. With this piece my outfit was complete. One of my favourite parts of the day were that everyone committed to the theme, I got very used to being called ‘my lady’ or ‘princess’ in every interaction.

Apparently Disney has a dapper day (oh how I wish I lived closer to attend), and many staff asked if I went to that day. I’ll take the compliments. Overall my Disneyworld outfit held up well and I wasn’t too uncomfortable, except the flats destroyed my feet by the end of the day. But I guess that is to be expected after running around like a six year old on sugar for 10 + hours.

I also discovering Disneybounding shortly after my visit, next time doing that will be the goal.
