Unfortunately I had to work on Saturday; I haven’t done this since my retail days. Yes, it was a reception, but still it was a work event on Saturday! To combat this fact, I made myself happy by dressing up.
I got this dress for an amazing deal when Fashion Crimes on Queen Street West closed. It is now my go-to office party dress. It feels fancy to me; without being over the top. The peak-a-boo lace details make the dress appropriate for evening without showing too much skin. I love the gold zipper at the back; it gives the elegant lace some edge. I wore gold jewelry to bring out the gold of the zipper. The bracelet is one of my experiments made just for me.
Oh course when I decide to go outside to take a picture it begins to snow; I must have looked insane in my outfit.
