Easy Minnie Mouse Halloween Costume

This is an easy Minnie Mouse Disneybound Outfit or Halloween costume is made using your real clothes. I’ve been wanting to buy from Unique Vintage for awhile. Seeing this Minnie Mouse skirt on sale was the perfect excuse.

Unique Vintage is from the UK so given the price and shipping and duties I had to pay for delivery – it’s not cheap. I was so lucky the skirt fit, it was almost too small. This skirt is also perfect for an easy costume; it is nice when you can wear your Halloween costume again. And the best thing is the skirt has pockets! I’ll totally wear this Minnie Mouse skirt again to afternoon tea, work or dinner. Or if ever I go to Disneyland again

It goes below the knee and it is red and cream. To be honest I thought it was white when I bought it, but it still works. The store is from the UK (I’m in Canada) so the conversion rate is pricey and I will never make the mistake of chancing the duties again – I should have just paid when I bought it. It did fit but just barely, I will definitely order larger next time to be safe.

Besides being a cute Halloween costume it is the ideal skirt for a Minnie Mouse Disneybound outfit. If you don’t know what disneybounding is its when you wear real clothes to emulate a Disney character. So it isn’t officially a costume since adults aren’t allowed to wear costumes there. Geez, I wish I lived closer to Magic Kingdom. See my adventure there from a few years ago.

Add Mickey Ears!

To make it a Minnie Mouse Halloween costume just slap on some ears and accessorize with white gloves. You could go all the way paint a nose and whiskers on your face if you wanted. But I do recommend red lips to pop and match the skirt.
