Lately these shiny grey leggings have been my go-to for style and comfort – so glad I scored these American Apparel Metallic Grey Leggings. They were the best Value Village find – and less than $15. If I recall the original price would have been closer to $40 or $50. I am determined to wear pants as little as possible! And I would’t exactly consider leggings pants …but these leggings are super easy and still fashionable. I also wore the leggings in a more polished casual Friday way here
This outfit is very simple, a loose black shirt and the statement leggings. The metallic does all the talking. The only accessory I added was the kitschy fun cameo necklace to give the outfit some flair. The necklace was an experiment I made with lots of extra jewelry pieces: hearts, crosses, a cameo and some flowers. I’m thinking of making a similar one to use up my craft stash. Red lips and dramatic eyelashes also glam the look up. I wore the outfit wandering around Roncesvalles on the weekend.
As we walked pouring rain started, so we found a place for tea. I love how the shop had church pews and teal damask wallpaper that matched my teapot. When a cafe gives you nice dishes and a personal teapot; I respect that.
You probably won’t notice, but I tried to put a purple wash in my hair and it didn’t take very well, you can see slight lavender in my hair directly in the light but just barely! I also wore light purple eyeshadow to make the hair pop. It’s disappointing I spent time painting it and the crazy hair didn’t stick.
