I think I look amazing in this Zara orange statement coat and black hat combination. Wearing the hat makes me feel a bit extra and more interesting. My boyfriend hates this hat and I do NOT care! What do men know about fashion anyway.
A good statement coat is an essential piece of any wardrobe. A bright and bold colour automatically makes a boring outfit interesting and commands attention. I have several fabulous coats from Zara, for some reason they do them so well! See how I also wore the coat here with a kaleidoscope dress. Although this coat is colourful and fun, it is also professional. It is lined and has some details like slightly puffy stitching on the shoulders andfaux pockets.
I wore this outfit to work and then out for coffee and a walk afterwards. I had two strangers on the street randomly say how stylish I looked. The compliments made my day! When strangers stop you, rest assured you are doing something right.
The Zara orange statement coat is one of my favourite pieces that are both fun and professional. Whenever I wear it I feel amazing and totally confident. The outfit under the coat is pretty dark, but the vibrancy of the coat makes up for this. I wore a stretchy pencil skirt and a top with black lace and a grey peplum under it. The gladiator sandals bring out the grey in the top. Of course the hat is what makes this outfit completely “extra” I vow the start buying bigger and bigger hats!
An extra bonus is by fluke my pedicure matches the coat! The only accessory I’m wearing is one of my go-to creations: dangle chandelier earrings made by hand with wire and Swarovski crystals.
