The craft is easy to assemble, especially if you don’t have to spray paint 40 terracotta pots white. If possible, I would recommend buying the colour you wanted to save you time. I felt like I was spray painting pots for days as I spread the DIY throughout a few weeks. However, the painting did save me about half the cost, so I do feel it was worth it.
I found these seed packets on Etsy and they had many variations, this is the shop I used, but there are many others too. Search for the kind you like because this is what makes the craft pretty and stand out.
I bought the pots at Dollarama, the paint at a hardware store, and the ribbon from Michaels. The pots have a diametre of 3 inches and stand 3 inches high. The seed packets were the most expensive part at $80+ with shipping, I’d say the entire project cost $130+ which is under $4 a favour.
Supplies
- Terracotta pots
- White spray paint
- Pink ribbon (thin)
- Glue gun
- Seed packets (Etsy)
Instructions
- Clean pots of dust/debris
- Spray paint white in a well ventilated area
- Spray the inside of pot then the outside
- Let dry
- Glue pink ribbon in the middle of the ribbon on back of pot
- Tie in bow and secure with more glue
- Assemble on table and place seed packets inside.

I displayed the DIY favours with a bouquet of flowers, which I think added to the display.
